Tax Strategy Mistake
I've been thinking about tax planning and I have to say, I strongly disagree with the common practice of prioritizing tax-deferred accounts over taxable brokerage accounts. Most people seem to think it's a no-brainer to maximize 401(k) and IRA contributions, but I think this approach can actually limit your financial flexibility in the long run. By putting too much money into tax-deferred accounts, you're essentially locking it away until retirement, which may not be the best strategy for everyone. What are your thoughts on this? Am I missing something or is this a case of conventional wisdom being wrong?
