Chalenge with blending impasto/ glazing techniques while depicting quantum phenomena
Ever tried using ultra-thick impasto layering to show particle wave duality while keeping subtle semi-transparent glazes for probability clouds...and just totally lose cohesion? Lmaoo. Last night I mixed cobalt cerulean with cobalt violet on a raised gesso base—wanted a tunneling effect that suggested motion through layers…now it’s more “muddy blob art” 😭 Should I layer metallic leaf mid-coats to push dimension? Or forget physics and just accept I’m now an abstract expressionist. Curious if anyone paints with both opaque buildup and delicate translucent veils…tips?
