Dropped a Black Lotus... in Public
Confess: I accidentally sold a Black Lotus on TCGPlayer as a Commons listing?? Total brainlet move. Let me backtrack. A friend gift me a sealed Japan black lotus (non-foil) for my last trip there... worth ~$25k IRL. Stuck it in my Modern deck for a casual kitchen table game... THEN packed up my binder in a TCGPlayer-branded box during an event. Six hours later realized it was in my collection storage... not my tournament deck.... Why? Overcompensated from camera gear anxiety obviously. You’d think photographers are meticulous?? At least Black Lotus isn’t cursed now... but my wallet feels empty. Anyone else fumbled 7-digit value plays like this?
