Frustrating art supply experience
I recently purchased a set of expensive acrylic paints from a well-known brand, and I was really looking forward to experimenting with them. However, when I opened the package, I was disappointed to find that the colors were not as vibrant as I had expected. The blues and greens were particularly muted, which was a letdown since those are my favorite colors to work with. To make matters worse, the paint itself was quite thick and difficult to mix. I've tried adjusting my technique and using different mediums, but it's just not yielding the results I want. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this brand? I'm starting to think that I just got a bad batch, but it's got me reconsidering my loyalty to this company. I've been using their products for years and have always been satisfied, but this recent purchase has left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
