Mistake on my last route
I was climbing last weekend and I realized I've been misreading the crimp holds on the 5.10 route. I'd been using the bottom crimp with my left hand instead of my right, which is apparently the intended beta. It worked for me a few times but on my last attempt I fell right after the crux because my left hand was in a compromised position. Kind of annoying considering I know better. The weird thing is that when I tried the route again after making the adjustment it felt way easier, so I guess sometimes it takes blowing it to figure out what you're doing wrong. Has anyone else ever had an experience like that where something so simple threw them off?
