Stop treating law school GPA like a merit badge

Everyone acts like a 3.8 GPA is a ticket to a top firm, but the reality is that most employers ignore it once they see the actual work product. The grading curve is arbitrary, varies by professor, and rewards memorization over critical thinking. law firms should base hires on writing samples and interview performance, not a number that can be inflated by a lenient professor. The whole GPA obsession just fuels unnecessary competition and distracts from learning the law itself.
