Tax season frustration
I just spent the last hour on the phone with my accountant and I am still trying to wrap my head around the changes to the tax code. Specifically, the new rules regarding deductions for home office expenses are a nightmare. I have been doing my taxes the same way for years and now it seems like everything has changed. The IRS website is not helpful and my accountant seems just as confused as I am. Has anyone else had to deal with this? I am getting frustrated with the whole process.
