why does dialectical behavior therapy barely address neuroscience behind emotional dysregulation

i feel like dbt is super helpful for alot of ppl but it doesnt really go into the neuroscientific aspects of emotional dysregulation like how neurotransmitter imbalances or cortisol affects the brain maybe someone can explain to me why thats the case or if theres a specific reason why marsha linehan didnt incorporate more neuroscientific principles into the therapy rn i cant help but think it would be more effetive if we understood the biological aspect of our emotions lol
