I've been doing a few nights of EVP in my old attic. The mic works fine during the day, but once the clock hits 12am I get this weird buzzing/static that drowns everything out. I've tried different batteries, repositioned the mic, even swapped cables, but it keeps happening. Anyone experienced something similar? Could it be a residual energy thing or just my equipment acting up?? I feel kinda uneasy when it starts... Any tips would be appreciated 🙏??

I've been thinking about this a lot and I'm still not sure what to believe Are residual hauntings just a replay of past events or can they be influenced by our presence? I've heard stories where people claim to have interacted with residual hauntings but it sounds more like intelligent hauntings to me. Can someone explain the difference to me or share their own experiences?
