Tried pulling off a quick card vanish using a chocolate bar as the 'misdirection' prop today. Thought it’d be a fun twist – the bar looks solid, I flip it, the card disappears. Only problem? The bar was sitting in the sun for a bit, started softening, and when I tried the sleight it just crumbled in my hand. so i was watching an old card guy, and he kept doing the same misdirection trick i wonder if close‑up misdirection works better than big theater moves for creating the wow effect or is the opposite true tbh i don't know what the community thinks would love some thoughts lol
