tbh i'm baffled. just bought a cheapo staple gun for a craft box project. worked fine for like 10 staples then started jamming every other shot. using 1/4" for thin birch ply. tried oiling the hinge per manual but no dice. is there some obvious stupid thing i'm missing? imo should've held up for more than a dozen staples lol

just got my hands on the kensington 4‑panel shiplap (model ksp‑4p‑2022) and actually managed to line up the tongue‑and‑groove without any gaps lol i was half‑expecting a nightmare of warped boards but the pre‑finished oak veneer held up like a champ used a dremel with a #7 sanding drum to smooth the edges (got that from a diy youtube tutorial) and the result is basically a wallpaper that smells like a lumberyard i’m lowkey proud because it’s my first time using a laser‑level on a living‑room wall rn any tips for sealing the joints with minwax 233 tbh i think the finish is already spot on also, if anyone wants to see pics of the before/after i can drop them in the comments 🙂
